MISC

Rich Perez was the 2004 Harlem Globetrotters Announcer, has now been a 25 year radio host in Las Vegas, Denver, Honolulu and Los Angeles. Rich Perez co-hosted the 2010-2011 Raiders Hawaii Post Game Show on KUMU and 2008 University of Hawaii Pre-Pre game show on KKEA in Honolulu. Voice of the NBA Summer League 1997-2008 Long Beach and Las Vegas.

1997-2002 Perez was on the TV waves in COLORADO & LOS ANGELES-Covered the Colorado Rockies 1997-2000 for Rocky Mountain Cable. Adelphia Game of the Week as Play by Play for Los Angeles High Schools.

Hosted the Pre- Game Show for University of Hawaii 2007-2008 on KKEA-ESPN Radio Honolulu, Hawaii.

BOXING

Became Director of Sports Communications at defunct CMX Sports and Entertainment, Las Vegas, NV 2000-2005. This led to being Color man for Marty Corwins production and co-hosted Friday night fights with legendary HOFer Colonel Bob Sheridan. Mexico and Las Vegas fight  cards.

LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT 

1979 Athelete of the year at Luther Burbank Jr. High, Perez parlayed that and played Baseball, Football and Basketball at Los Angeles Franklin HS 1979-82, Earning him Athlete of the Year in 1982 as well also earned him the prestigious US Olympian Peter Clentzos award for Inspirational play at Franklin HS. Los Angeles, CA. A all 1st team Northern league 2B in Baseball 1982 to end an illustriuous high school career. Coached 9 years as Assistant to Rick Campbell and later to Sergio Galvez at his alma mater of Franklin High School and 1 playoff led year as Manager at Arleta High School in 2011-2012. Both schools in LAUSD.

BASEBALL

He then ventured into several Major League camps for numerous tryouts for several major league teams. Signed by area scout Kiki Hurtado of the Cincinnati Reds (Who also signed HOFer Eric Davis and Delwyn Young Sr. in 1981) for his first tryout which led to the Mexican leagues in Mexico City briefly then the Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees attempts to latch on as a second baseman did'nt last long. The late Giants scout George Genovese also had Perez run through Scottsdale and get some fall league games under Jim Lefebvre's direction, and finally after an arm injury with the late Chet Brewer in LA instructional weekend league for longtime Twins scout Jimmy Delmonte. Though Perez didnt latch on long term he made some great friends and experiences that have lasted a lifetime. Overall played for , associated with through media, great baseball people and managers: The late Wally Moon, the late Roy Hartsfield, Jim Lefebvre, Jim Fregosi, Jim Riggleman, John Wathan, Tom Kotchman, Jim Hoff, Joe Sambito, the late Gary Carter, Jim Sundberg, Al Hrabosky, Geg Pryor, Willie Wilson, Garry Hancock, Willie Mays Aikens, Tom Goodwin, Ron Gant, Luis Gonzalez, Todd Helton, Toby Harrah, Clint Hurdle, Dave Garcia, Dave Roberts, Tommy LaSorda, Frank Funk, Fred Kendall, Todd Walker, Todd Hollandsworth, Alex Cora, Sean Greene, Barry Bonds, Gene Clines, Marvin Benard, Bruce Bochy and an inspirational Expos/Dodgers GM Kevin Malone.

TV/RADIO/MOVIES/MORE MISC

Joined CBS in January 2013 thru today.

Has appeared originally on KLAV LAS VEGAS 1989 debut, ESPN, FOX SPORTS, NFL NETWORK, ADELPHIA CABLE, ROCKY MOUNTAIN CABLE and on CBS SPORTS RADIO NETWORK 1140 Saturdays at 8:00 AM live from Las Vegas, NV. Perez was also a key Sports Broadcasting figure for CMX Sports and Entertainment/Guilty Friday night Fights Boxing on ESPN.

Perez also has been active in Hollywood as a solid extra on many movie sets. Most notably Pirates of the Caribbean series. (see: IMDB.com)

Perez has also been associated with the Los Angeles Rams as Players Assistant 1992-95.

Covered 10 NFL Super Bowls and 17 NFL Pro Bowls as media.

Father is the late Carl "Peppy" Perez Los Angeles Olympic Auditorium Boxer 1950-1955

Son is the late Iraq war hero LCPl Richard A. Perez Jr USMC 1985-2005 a street "Rich Perez Way" in Henderson, NV is a memorial to his legacy behind Coronado High School, he was in their first graduting class and he was their first US Marine. Attended Senior year at Coronado HS in Henderson, Nevada 2003.

Perez's, Youngest of 3 Daughters Risa Perez is also Henderson, NV, Coronado High School 2012 Grad, 2013-2014 Arizona State and Gymnastics transfer 2015-2016 Oregon State Grad, PAC 12 Beam Champion, Regional Beam Champion.

TONY GOURDINE- LOS ANGELES, CA- Since 2000 Tony Gourdine has delivered the goods on Las Vegas Radio.

Started on Fox Sports 1n 1997 with Rich Perez and then to ESPN, and now CBS.

The son and Manager of Hall of fame singer Anthony Gourdine of "Little Anthony and the Imperials" fame.

Tony has created his own niche among the pundits of college and professional football. His stats and facts are unparallelled and he has a strong following nationally with great results driven success.

JATOVI MCDUFFIE-DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA-

The man behind the inning breaks at Durham Bulls Baseball stadium.

The longtime announcer has dazzled millions over the years in Durham, NC and is built to cover the South for us in sports.

Jatovi McDuffie, who is a native of Durham, NC, has been the on-field announcer at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park since 2004 as well as the ACC Baseball championship one on-field announcer since 2009. has also been an MC for the Bull Durham Blue’s Festival and the Fox 50 Family Fest; has performed stand-up at Goodnight’s Comedy Club in downtown Raleigh, NC; and is a resident improv performer at Comedy Worx in downtown Raleigh, NC since 2000.  His motto is a Bobby McFerrin song, “Don’t worry, Be Happy.”

Ron is a 30+ year TV and Radio veteran. He joined our team in Fall of 2016 and a staple at the JohnDeere Classic in Illinois each year.

Ron has worked with Gary Mathews on MLB Radio and does Steelers Podcasts still today.

30 years cannot be summed up in a paragraph. Ron is also big on Boxing and UFC.

Wayne has great energy and joins Rich Perez in the Nevada Hall of Fame in 2016. Wayne leads Hawaii Five O Media Group, who works in conjunction with SBS Sports. MARCUS DUPREE-RAMS- UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA

When you hear the name, you think of the Oklahoma legend no doubt about it!

A huge running back who may have been the very best if not for injury that hampered his career.

Still Marcus Dupree went on to a successful Professional career with USFL New Orleans Breakers and the Los Angeles Rams.

Legend has it that Marcus Dupree not only broke several national rushing records but has been an icon in the hearts of thousands of fans.

ESPN featured Marcus on 30/30 "The best that never was" we at SBS say he WAS and IS!

He joins team SBS Vegas and CBS is proud to have him on board.
